Jackson kids' godfather claims paternity

LONDON – A British tabloid reported Saturday that the godfather of Michael Jackson's three children claims to be the father of the singer's daughter Paris.

The News of the World quotes Jackson's longtime friend Mark Lester as saying that he "gave Michael my sperm so that he could have kids — and I believe Paris is my daughter."

The newspaper also quotes Lester, is a 51-year-old former child star known for his lead role in the 1968 movie version of the state show "Oliver!" as saying he's willing to take a paternity test.

In a video interview with Lester broadcast on the News of the World Web site, Lester said he donated his sperm at a London clinic. He said Jackson was married to Debbie Rowe at the time.

"She's the birth mother of the children so I naturally assumed the sperm donation would obviously have gone into Debbie and Debbie would have borne the children," he said.

He said Paris resembled his own 15-year-old daughter Harriet.

Rowe said he had made the revelations because he has "concerns about the welfare and upbringing of the children."

"It's a contact issue," he said on the video. "I dearly want to remain in contact with those kids and I feel now this is the only way I can ensure that."

Jackson and Lester became friends 27 years ago when Jackson's manager told Lester the singer wanted to meet him. Lester lives in Cheltenham, about 100 miles (160 kilometers) west of London.

Calls to Lester's home were not immediately returned.

Is Omar Bhatti Michael Jacksons son?

Daily News-Bhatti sat with Jackson's grieving family at the star-studded July 7 farewell to the singer in Los Angeles.

He is reported to be the result of a one-night stand Jackson had with Bhatti's mother, Pia Bhatti, in 1984.

Bhatti has been cagey about his relationship to the singer. Previously, he has said he wanted to take a DNA test to determine their connection.

"Michael always used to say I was like a son to him," Bhatti said in an interview last week. "But my true parents are in Norway.

"The reason I was asked to sit with his family at the memorial service is because I was Michael's closest friend - not because I am his son."

Bhatti and his family lived at Jackson's Neverland Ranch in California in the mid-1990s, when his mother was the nanny for the singer's oldest son, Prince Michael, now 12.

The news broke as a deal was inked giving Michael Jackson's mother, Katherine, the right to raise Prince Michael and his siblings, Paris, 11, and Prince Michael II, age 7.

How Michael Jackson Died

With news coming in everyday on Michael and some not the same it is hard to post what is real and what isn't. This is what we learned so far.
It seems that Michael did make out a will and the Jackson family has hired their lawyers to look into it.
Evidence was taken out of Michael's house to be looked at. The house was cleared and the Jackson family went in and packed up some of Michael's stuff. More evidence was take again from Michael's medicine cabinet, two green trash bags full.
Jackson called a nurse and asked her for a medicine that would help him sleep. He also stated that he needed someone to watch him sleep, to make sure he woke up. She told him that this drug was dangerous. He then told her that his doctor said it was safe.
Dr Gupta from CNN says this medicine is to be given in a hospital where the patient can receive oxygen and a test tube. The medicine is given by IV. 3 weeks later Michael called and told her he was having strange symptoms. Half his body was cold and the other half hot. I don't think the Nurse could help him.

What I want to know is, did Dr. Murray, Michael's live in Doctor give him this medicine. Was he there to watch over Michael while he was under this drug and I am gathering that this is not the first time Michael has taken this drug.
If the doctor did give Michael this med then can anything be done legal wise since the "crime scene" was apparently compromised with the family going in after the first time it was cleared. Inquiring minds want to know.
What do you think happened.

What is the emergency?
This is an edited transcript of the 911 call that was made to Los Angeles emergency services from Michael Jackson's home.

Yes sir, I need an ambulance as soon as possible. We have a gentleman here who needs help and he's not breathing. We are trying to pump him but he's not breathing.
How old is he?

He's 50 years old, sir. He's not breathing, sir. He's not conscious.

Is he on the floor? Let's get him on the floor. I'm going to help you with CPR [cardiopulmonary resuscitation] now. Did anyone see him?

We have a personal doctor here but he's not responding to CPR or anything.

Oh, you have a doctor there? If you guys are doing CPR with a doctor, he has a higher authority than me. Was anybody there who witnessed what happened?

No, just the doctor, sir. The doctor has been the only one here.

OK. So did the doctor see what happened?

Doctor, did you see what happened, sir?

Muffled sounds. If you can just come please?

We're on our way.

He's pumping and pumping his chest, he's not responding to anything, sir.

We're on our way. We're less than a mile away.

Thank you.
